Nikita Abrosimov (Nee-KEE-ta Ab-ROS-see-mov), 24, Russia: Abrosimov began studying piano at age 6 and made his recital debut at 14. He has since appeared at La Scala in Milan, Alice Tully Hall in New York and in venues in France, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, South Korea, Ukraine, Britain and the U.S. He recently performed with the Nizhny Novgorod Symphony, Stanford Symphony and the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, under the baton of Valery Gergiev. Abrosimov earned degrees at the Balakirev Music College and Indiana University South Bend and lives in London, where he studies at the Royal College of Music.
